Tuzla_panorama_1-1The Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda officially opened the new building of the Regional Center for Indirect Taxation of BiH in Tuzla yesterday.

The total value of the building that is 6.200 square meters was 6,1 million KM.

Expressing full support to the Director of UIO Miro Džakula and his system of work, Chairman Bevanda took the opportunity to say that the UIO BiH maintained the upward trend of indirect taxes, which was the result of discipline.

He noted that in the future there is a plan for the construction of new facilities of UIO in Sarajevo and Banja Luka, and that he is certain that the Director of UIO BiH and people who work with him would finish this part of the job, to eliminate costs of renting property and to have such facilities in BiH.

The Director of UIO Miro Džakula, who started the initiative for the construction of the facilities, expressed his gratitude to the BiH Council of Ministers and all those who gave their support to UIO BiH.

After the UIO Regional Center in Mostar was opened last year, works began on the construction of such a facility in Tuzla.

The contemporary style of the building in Tuzla, in addition to the quality accommodation for UIO officials, would enable better services for more than 14.000 taxpayers who belong to this regional center.

At the proposal of the UIO BiH Director, the BiH Council of Ministers adopted a decision to approve a multi-year capital investment in UIO BiH.

This decision, in addition to the already two buildings in Mostar and Tuzla, involves the construction of a UIO headquarters and regional centers in Banja Luka and Sarajevo.

In this way, the problem of accommodation for UIO employees for all four regional centers would be solved.
