TV show “Friends” still has thousands of fans in the Balkans, but only few of them have noticed that Slobodan Milosevic appeared there.

Of course, it was not his figure that appeared, but his face on the cover of “Time magazine” was shown in one scene.
At the time of filming this scene, West enjoyed the popular show, while Serbs have experienced, what they still describe as one of the worst events in their history: the NATO bombing of Serbia.
Milosevic found himself on the cover of “Time” in the first week of April 1999, at the height of the Serbian bombing.
During a flight to Las Vegas, where they get married later, Ross reads “Time”, which suits to an intellectual like him, and the whole time the face of Slobodan Milosevic is shown under his arm.
