According to the decision of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from Monday, March 16th this year, all products within the jurisdiction of the canton, city and municipality prescribed by Article 9 of the Law on Price Control, as well as other basic necessities of life and basic hygiene goods, sold by companies and other legal and natural persons engaged in the wholesale and retail trade may not have a price higher than the one they had on March 5 this year. Companies and other legal persons engaged in the wholesale and retail trade are obliged to apply prices for the products listed in the List, which is an integral part of this Decision, at the level established on March 5, 2020.
On the list of products subject to direct price control measures are all types of flour, all kinds of bread, pastries and other bakery products made from flour and cereals, milk and dairy products, eggs and egg products, sugar, salt for human consumption, rice, pasta, margarine, all kinds of fresh meat, fish and their products, fruits and vegetables, canned meat, canned food, drinking water, edible oil, infant food, dietetic products, disposable diapers for children and adults, sanitary napkins, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent.
Also on the list are soap, disinfectants for water, space and hands (including concentrated alcohol), toilet paper, toothpaste, medical clothing and footwear, protective gloves, protective covers for shoes, surgical masks, FFP2 and FFP3 face masks and linen and other underwear for the healthcare system.Federal, cantonal, city and municipal market inspectorates are responsible for the implementation and supervision of the implementation of this decision.
