The mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, was on an official visit to Ankara, where she signed the Cooperation Agreement with the mayor of the capital of Turkey, Mansur Yavas.

“Over the past four years, Sarajevo has strengthened its international friendships through numerous agreements with world cities, and the connection with Ankara has a special significance. This partnership, built through cultural and economic exchange, symbolizes solidarity and support that lasts over time,” said Karić.

She pointed out that “in this way, we marked and additionally strengthened three decades of our unbreakable, historical ties that we continue to nurture and build on”.

“Thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality to Mayor Yavaş and the entire delegation of fraternal Ankara. May this Agreement be a legacy that I am proud to leave as part of the mandate that I am completing, and which testifies to the lasting friendship between Sarajevo and Ankara,” said Mayor Karić, Klix.ba writes.
