The SDP is asking the new chief state prosecutor, Milan Kajganic, to form cases against the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and the president of the SNSD, Milorad Dodik. They announced that they would file criminal charges themselves.

It is one of the conclusions of yesterday’s session of the Presidency of this party. As they announced, among the conclusions is that they will file criminal charges due to a decision from the other day of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (NARS) to form an entity agency for medicines. They assessed that this decision, as stated, is an attack on the state constitutional order.

They announced that they would ask High Representative (HR) Christian Schmidt and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to initiate a session of the United Nations (UN) Security Council, which is another conclusion.

The following conclusions were reached at the session of the SDP Presidency:• Support the activities by which the SDP has taken on the obligation to play an active role in international relations in order to defend the institutions of BiH. The SDP will continue its activities to protect institutions recognized by our friends in the European Union (EU) and the world, and our ties with the Social Democratic Group EU parties can provide a key argument for an intensified international offensive in BiH;• Appoint a delegation to discuss that matter with the Head of the EU Delegation and EU Special Representative, Johann Sattler;• Continue to fight for the institutions of BiH and the preservation of peace, as well as the improvement of the living standard of every citizen of BiH. Members of the SDP Presidency were acquainted with the SDP’s initiatives to amend the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, the Law on Minimum Wage, and the Law on Compulsory Health Insurance, all for the purpose of the better status of pensioners and workers in BiH. At the meetings with the representatives of the pensioners’ unions, unequivocal support was given to the efforts of the SDP BiH to finally achieve with quality law amendments that pensioners and workers live a life worthy of a man, ” it was said by the SDP.

To recall, the NARS with a narrow majority supported the formation of an entity agency for medicines. This decision was supported by 43 deputies, which is one more than the required majority, while two deputies abstained from a vote. The opposition did not attend the voting because it was against this decision.

This act violates the competence of the state governmentbecause the Medicines Agency of BiH already exists. Dodik announced that such a decision would be made. Besides, he promised that an entity army would be formed and that State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) would be denied action in RS.
