International Secretary of SNSD Željka Cvijanović and the Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to B&H Renzo Daviddi emphasized their determination to do everything necessary to implement the political agreement concerning the implementation of the ”Sejdić-Finci” verdict by the end of March.

During today’s consultation meeting in Banja Luka on ways of implementing the ”Sejdić-Finci” verdict, Cvijanović repeated that there is an agreement of all political parties from RS which considers a direct election of a member of the Presidency of B&H from RS, together with the eradication of nationality baseline.

” This decision is primarily directed towards eliminating discrimination in the process of candidacy for the Presidency and the House of Peoples of the Parliament of B&H, and its implementation should be restricted just to these fields. There is already a unanimous stand of all political parties from RS which vouches for a direct election of a member of the Presidency of B&H from RS with the eradication of nationality baseline.”- said Cvijanović.
