SPARK was recently visited by two experts – Helena Habdija, Community and Portfolio Manager at DotforgeAccelerator, and Igor Tasic, founder of Startup Europe Week.
Helena has a longstanding experience in the field of pitching, investment and general education she gained in the accelerator in Manchester, and she has been mentoring our startups for a full month. She took the time to meet with each startup and startup company in person, but also held two workshops on topics:#1 Networking – building a right supportive ecosystem for your business #2 Funding for startups – Investor deck & Investment summary
In addition, she prepared startups for pitching at Demo Day, as one of the jury members. The difficult task of selecting only three winners of the Demo Day was also assigned to expert Igor Tasić. He is the founder of Startup Europe Week, an event that brings together young entrepreneurs from across the region in order to exchange ideas, contacts, and actions on the development and expansion of the European startup scene.
Igor also held 1na1 meetings with all startups and startup companies as well as two workshops:#1 Product development through all the acceleration phases #2 Organization of the team: talent identification, hard conversations, hiring/firing people.
Igor also broadcasted Facebook #LIVE – our Sara Lerota and he were talking about the #startup scene in Mostar, opportunities for young people, how we organized three #SEWs in Mostar and why we will organize the fourth one.
