Members of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly briefed the Special Represenatative of the NATO General Secretary for women’s issues, peace and security with the implementation of the Resolution in BiH, and the statistical indicators of women in armed forces and security agencies in BiH, with a particular emphasis on their representation in decision-making.

Mari Skarre expressed her satisfaction with the fact that BiH was the first in the region and eight in Europe that brought the Action Plan to implementation of the UN Resolution 1325, as well as the attention that this implementation and the Resolution devotes to the establishment of gender equality in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament.
