506040Local elections in BiH have caused a lot of tensions in Srebrenica. However, his town has different stories as well; stories about those who live by their own rules, not the political ones.

Those are the stories about those who decide by themselves whom they will love, with whom and how they will live.

One accidental encounter changed the life of a single mother and returnee to Srebrenica. Milka Stanojević and her family received Hasmina Smajić and her son and helped them. Today, these two families have a longtime friendship behind them.

„These people mean to me so much, they are like my family. I don’t have a father and a mather, and I think of them as my family because they helped me a lot. If there were not for them, I wouldn’t be able to make money and prpvide for my child,“ said Hasmina Smajić.

While Hasmina works, the Stanojević family looks after her son Amar.
