switzerlandCantonal Court in Ticino, the southernmost Swiss canton, punished Donatello Poggi for denying Srebrenica genocide.

This politician, right-handed, denied the genocide committed by the Army of RS on 2 occasions, 2 years ago. Moreover, he published two texts, in which he explained that the victims were Serbs and not the Bosniaks.

Poggi will have to pay the fine in the amount of 6,000 CHF (approximately 10,000 BAM) and costs of the court in the amount of 1,100 CHF.

Otherwise, according to Swiss law, the denial of any genocide is forbidden, including the one in Srebrenica. Poggi is the third Swiss, but the first politician, from that country who was punished for denying the genocide in Srebrenica.
