Ten Italian companies will participate in this year’s ZEPS fair as part of a joint stand organized by the Association of Italian Businessmen in BiH, which is in the final stage of accreditation as the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As announced by the International General BiH Economic Fair ZEPS 2025, the focus of the Italian companies’ appearances will be on the combination of traditional Italian industrial expertise and modern digital solutions, as well as on examples of successful integration of Italian companies into the Bosnian and Herzegovina economy.

In explaining this decision, the Association of Italian Businessmen in BiH emphasizes that they recognize the ZEPS fair as one of the most important international economic events in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as an important regional platform that provides concrete opportunities for networking, presentation and business cooperation.

“Participation in the fair is part of our broader strategy to strengthen the presence of Italian companies in BiH, with the aim of supporting investments, exchanging technologies, and promoting sustainable and innovative solutions. At the same time, we want to show that Italian companies are already deeply integrated into the local economy, both through direct investments and production capacities, as well as through the development of human resources and business cooperation with Bosnian and Herzegovina companies,” according to the Association of Italian Businessmen in BiH.

Ten Italian companies, coming from different sectors and representing a strong cross-section of the Italian business presence in BiH, will be present at the joint stand, namely: Intesa Sanpaolo Bank and Unicredit Bank – together they make up around 30 percent of the banking sector in BiH, key players in the field of investment financing, support for SMEs and green loans; Enerplan Spa – also present through a new company in Banja Luka, active in the field of design, energy efficiency and environmental protection; Bizzotto Scaffalature Srl – a renowned manufacturer of industrial metal shelves with 35 percent of exports to countries in the region, including BiH; SPIN 316, PlayMarketing, Think 1816 – companies headquartered or based in Zenica that combine technology, creativity and consulting; Luminary Lab – an innovative studio for digital solutions, design and interactive technologies; Dispotech – a manufacturer of disposable products for the medical and sports sector (spray ice, hot packs, dental equipment); Ufficio Service – specialized in digitalization, no-code solutions, back office and AI integration into business processes.

In addition, a hospitality area will be organized within the stand, where Italian brands from the food and beverage sector will be presented, whose appearance is being finalized.

“The participation of Italian companies and their joint appearance at this year’s ZEPS is another strong confirmation of the importance of ZEPS, which is already recognized as the regional economic event of the year. After the excellent cooperation we have with the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the American Chamber of Commerce and chambers of commerce in the region, the partnership we have established with our Italian friends is another significant step forward in the internationalization of the International ZEPS Fair,” said the manager of the organizing team of the General BH Fair ZEPS 2025, Sanel Ibrić.

The General BiH Fair ZEPS 2025 will be held from 10 to 13 September at Kamberovića Polje in Zenica. Last year, more than 1,200 brands participated in ZEPS, and more than 1,000 B2B meetings were organized. Around 300 business contracts were negotiated and signed, and this year additional efforts have been made to increase the number, the ZEPS Press Service announced.
