childThe Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of FBiH reported that by the Law on public holidays, which is applied as a federal law, it is determined that the 1st of May is the International Workers’ Day and it is celebrated for 2 days, on the 1st and the 2nd of May.

This law stipulates that if one of the days when this holiday is celebrated falls on Sunday, the first following day after the two days is considered as holiday.

Considering that the 1st of May this year falls on Sunday, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of FBiH informs the public that the non-working days in the FBiH will be Monday (the 2nd of May) and Tuesday (the 3rd of May), noting that on holidays, employers, institutions, administrative bodies and other legal entities will not be working, as announced from the Office of Public Relations of the Government of the FBiH.
