The conference brought together representatives of geodetic administrations and institutions from Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania and B&H.

The Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs and the Department of Geodetic and Property Affairs of the RS organized the conference. At the opening of the conference it was stated that the two-year project INSPIRATION was financed by the European Union for about 1.5 million euros.
