The Main Board of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) believes that the so-called The Coalition of Three have seriously weakened the position of the pro-Bosnian forces with their previous concessions towards SNSD and HDZ Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), and that possible new concessions, which are already being negotiated and which relate to the Election Law, the Constitutional Court of BiH, state property and the Central Election Commission BiH, could irreparably harm the interests of the state of BiH.

When solving these issues, there are “red lines” below which no pro-Bosnian party may go, and these are, above all, the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights and the Constitutional Court of BiH – it is stated in one of the conclusions of the Main Board published on the SDA website.
It is emphasized that the adoption of any law regulating the work of the Constitutional Court of BiH is unacceptable, given that the issue is resolved directly by the Constitution of BiH. It is also unacceptable that judges chosen by the President of the European Court of Human Rights do not participate in the work of the Constitutional Court of BiH. The very consent to discussions on these topics and the formation of working groups represents a threat to the interests of the state of BiH – the SDA states.
The main board of the SDA strongly condemns the blockades and suspensions of traffic on the entity line, which have been organized by the Republika Srpska (RS) entity authorities for weeks. This act not only raises inter-ethnic tensions and undermines the security situation in BiH, but also directly violates the Dayton Peace Agreement, i.e. the Constitution of BiH, which stipulates that entities may not hinder full freedom of movement throughout BiH.
”We call on EUFOR to react in accordance with the mandate prescribed by the Dayton Peace Agreement. Restricting movement is a criminal offense prescribed by the Criminal Code of BiH, and we call on the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH to prosecute all those responsible for this unconstitutional and illegal act,” the SDA states.
The main board of the SDA condemns the attacks, threats and pressures on Bosniak returnees in the RS entity, which have escalated in recent months.
They welcome the intention of the High Representative Christian Schmidt to engage in solving this problem, which he announced in response to the letter of the President of the Main Board of the SDA dated September 2nd, 2023.
The main committee of the SDA assesses that the result of the work of the imposed Government of the Federation of BiH(FBiH) in the first four months of the mandate is very bad.
