The Series of Lectures: Someone Said Feminism?

feminizamThe third cycle of lectures, “Someone said feminism?” organized by the Sarajevo Open Center, at the Art Cinema Kriterion will be held on Friday, first November 2013.

This cycle of lectures is focused on feminist issues, women’s rights and gender. The topic of the third lecture is “The women on the civil edge – the context of the nineteenth century” and the lecturer is Dr. Adriana Zaharijević, from Belgrade.

Feminism is a movement fighting for the freedom of women and is one of the few social movements that has survived until today, in the XXI century, emerged from the struggle with the standard, but in different ways.

The lecture begins at 18:00 and the entrance is free and open to the public.
