B&H and Greece, the Ministries of Defense and armed forces occupy a prominent place in bilateral cooperation with partner countries, as one of the most successful and intensive relations that B&H has with  friendly countries in the region and the world. This relation is based on the agreement between B&H Council of Ministers and the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Greece on cooperation in the field of defense, signed on 22 January 2008.

This cooperation is realized  through several areas in particular, the exchange of visits at the highest levels, the implementation of activities of bilateral military cooperation of the annual plans and the support of B&H Armed Forces to peace support operations abroad, as well as UN peacekeeping missions and the training of the Armed Forces of B&H in Greece.
