begova dzamijaTourists and all the citizens, will be enabled soon to view Baščaršija from “bird’s eye view” from  minaret of Gazi Husrev-bey’s mosque, which is located in the heart of old center of capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as reported by portal Faktor.ba.

This was also confirmed from Gazi Husrev-bey’s Mosque, where we are told that everything is ready to include climbing to the minaret of one of the most famous and most beautiful mosques in B&H, in the tourist offer of Sarajevo.

“We are now just waiting for official permission from Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina and then we can start. That’s all we can say before we get that permission, because everything else would be incomplete” – told our contact person.

The plan is, as we were told in Bey’s Mosque, that this interesting offer should be available to citizens and tourists on the beginning of this year’s summer tourist season. The whole project should have been finished since April 1st, but the procedures did not allowed it. As we were told, confirmation of Islamic Community is expected in next few days.
