Tragedy near Gracanica: Woman found dead, Man died on the way to Hospital

Firearms were used tonight in Miričina near Gračanica, and two people were killed, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton announced.

The Gračanica police station received a report around 7:40 p.m. that there had been a shooting in Miričina, in the area of ​​the city of Gračanica, and that there were injured people.

The police officers of the Gračanica Police Station, the officers of the Criminal Police Department of the Gračanica Police Administration, as well as the team of the Emergency Medical Service of the Gračanica Health Center were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Arriving at the scene, the details of the report were confirmed. Police officers found the body of a woman with the initials N. K. (1958), who did not show signs of life. The injured man with the initials S. K. (1958) was sent by ambulance to a health facility, but he died during transport.

The on-duty cantonal prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton was informed about the incident, who will lead the investigation. Investigative actions will be carried out by investigators of the Criminal Police Sector of the Tuzla Canton MUP Police Directorate with the aim of determining all the circumstances of this event.

More information will be known after the completion of the investigation and the implementation of other necessary investigative actions, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tuzla Canton announced.
