Turkish-Bosnian Students at the Sarajevo College Will Represent BiH at a Science Competition

proje_logo_ingMEF Educational Institutions’ 22nd International Research Projects Competition will gather 165 high school students with 90 scientific projects from 26 different countries between May 7 and 10, 2013.

One of the top international, scientific high school competitions in the world, MEF Educational Institutions’ traditional “22nd International Research Projects Competition” aims to attract any skillful student in science to become “Scientists of the Future.” The organization that will be held between May 7 and 10, 2013, will host 120 students from Turkey and 45 students among international high schools. The project topics in the competition include sustainable energy saving systems, waste-water cleaning technologies and window-cleaning robots. The projects span a wide variety of fields; including nature, technology, health care and cosmetics.

Becoming more like an international science summit, MEF’s “International Research Projects Competition” is getting more attention every year from all around the world. This year, the organization will host 27 projects of international students from 25 different countries, namely Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Dubai, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Kosovo, Macedonia, Northern Cyprus, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Thailand, Turkmenistan and Ukraine.

İbrahim Arıkan, Ph.D, the founder of MEF Schools, Turkey commented: “Scientists of the Future, feeling honoured by representing their countries, will meet high school students selected all around Turkey in the unifying atmosphere of science. They will also have an opportunity to present their astonishing science projects targeting to solve some of the current and future problems of the world.”

The project developed by the students of Turkish-Bosnian Sarajevo College, has been selected from hundreds of scientific projects in the world to attend and represent Bosnia Herzegovina in the competition. The competition will evaluate projects in different scientific categories including physics, chemistry and biology separately.
