Prime Minister of Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met in his office in Ankara with BiH delegation headed by president of charity organisation ‘Merhamet’ Hajrudin Šehić.

Part of BiH delegation were pupils and students from BiH, children of martyrs’ families who came to Turkey on a five day visit on the call of Ministry of Sports and Youth of Turkey.

BiH Ambassador in Turkey Damir Džanka participated at the meeting, and Erdoğan said that Turkey will always support BiH.

Šahić gave a gift to Erdoğan and he congratulated the 100th anniversary of ‘Merhamet’ and added that he appreciates ‘Merhamet’ as an organisation, its mission and activity. Erdoğan added that he’ll continue to support ‘Merhamet’ in times to come.

‘It was a successful visit and prime-minister Erdoğan confirmed that he’s a true friend of ‘Merhamet’ and BiH’, said Šahić.

Guests from BiH were also greeted by Ministry of Sports and Youth of Turkey and Minister Suat Kilic. He expressed his support to ‘Merhamet’ and noted that he’ll strive to improve cooperation of ‘Merhamet’ and his Ministry.

‘Visits like this will happen again, and our aim is to include all children of martyrs from all parts of BiH’, said Kilic.

Thanks to editor of Turkish State Television (TR) in South-Slavic languages Bekim Muftarević, that media house has organised an appropriate concert for BiH children.
