Vucic: Tomorrow I will talk to Putin, Dodik told me which Message to convey to him

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, addressed the public yesterday after a meeting with the president of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian (BiH) entity Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, in Belgrade.

At the very beginning of his address, Vucic once again tried to achieve a dramatic effect with the statement, “When you hear that someone might be preparing for an armed conflict, you cannot help but be concerned.”

“In Banja Luka, I asked Dodik to send invitations for talks. Apart from insults, we received nothing. Things happen through conversation and dialogue. Unfortunately, in this time of turmoil, it is clear that Europe will try to distance itself from the United States (U.S.),” said Vucic.

He added that because of this, Serbia and the BiH entity RS are not in the most favorable position.

“Europe needs, to some extent, to show its power and strength. We in RS and Serbia need to be aware of that. In Sarajevo, they are happy because of it. And that is one of the reasons why a ‘color revolution’ is being carried out in Serbia,” said Vucic.

He repeated that “Serbia respects the Dayton Peace Agreement and the territorial integrity of BiH.”

“We are not concerned with the ‘spirit of the Dayton Peace Agreement.’ Serbia advocates for peace and we will do everything to preserve it ‘almost at any cost,'” said Vucic.

He then said that he would involve the President of Russia in the entire issue.

“Tomorrow I will have a conversation with the President of Russia. President Dodik conveyed to me the message that I need to deliver to Putin, and I will do so,” Vucic emphasized yesterday.

He then quoted French President Emmanuel Macron, who said that “Europe must arm itself rapidly and brutally.”

“You know that Serbia follows European trends,” Vucic concluded.
