What is the Average Net Salary in BiH?

The average monthly net salary per employee in Bosnia and Herzegovina in December last year amounted to 1,190 BAM and was nominally higher by 1.3 percent compared to November last year, and was nominally higher by 14.2 percent compared to December 2021.

In the business activity of financial and insurance activities, the average salary in December was 1,753 BAM, in information and communications 1,706 BAM, and in production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning 1,704 BAM, according to the data of the BiH Statistics Agency.

In the activity of providing accommodation, preparing and serving food, the average net salary paid in December was 749 BAM, in construction 857 BAM, and in wholesale and retail trade, and in repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles 920 BAM.

The average monthly gross salary per employee in BiH for December last year was 1,831 BAM, which shows a nominal growth of 1.3 percent compared to November last year, and a nominal growth of 14.1 percent compared to December 2021.
