What is the projected growth Rate of Revenues from Indirect Taxes in BiH?

The projected growth rate of revenues from indirect taxes in Bosnia and Herzegovina for this year is 9.1% and it is planned to collect 7.55 billion BAM of revenues from this type of tax, according to the bulletin of the Department for Macroeconomic Analysis of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) BiH , the BL portal reported.

The projected amount of VAT revenues this year is 4.9 billion BAM or 11% more than last year.

The projection is based on the historical seasonal scheme of collection of certain categories of VAT, as well as trends and projections of macroeconomic indicators.

The projected amount of total net revenues from excises this year is 1.56 billion BAM, which is 6.1% more than last year.

The projected amount of net toll revenue for this year is 669 million BAM or 2.1% more than last year, and is based on current collection trends, historical seasonal collection scheme, forecasts of macroeconomic indicators, trends in oil prices and estimates of price elasticity of demand for oil derivatives in BiH.

The bulletin states that the net collection of customs duties in the amount of 363.5 million BAM or 12% more is projected.

The projected growth rate of net revenues from indirect taxes for the next year is 3.2%, for 2024 2.9%, while the projected growth for 2025 is three percent.

The projection of revenues in this period is based on projected relevant macroeconomic indicators, the historical seasonal collection scheme and projections of certain categories of revenues for this year, the bulletin adds.
