The Municipality of Ilidza has been a leader when it comes to the number of tourist arrivals, overnight stays, number of accommodation units and beds for the last eleven years, according to the data of the Institute for Informatics and Statistics of Canton Sarajevo (CS), and it is also at the top when it comes to the state level as well.

There are 30 accommodation facilities with more than 2,200 accommodation units and 5,000 beds in the area of the Municipality of Ilidza, which makes 1/8 of total accommodation capacity at the state level.

The investments of the private sector that were put into operation this year will further strengthen the position and tourist offer of Ilidza.

Based on the all available data, the improvement of the offer on Ilidza is followed by an increase of the number of visitors to the two most attractive localities in this municipality, i.e. Vrelo Bosne, which was visited by more than 200,000 tourists last year and the memorial complex Tunnel D-B, which recorded a total of 130,000 visits last year.
