"Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the German Ministry of the Interior also restricted entry from third countries at the EU level. These restrictions were lifted by the BiH Ministry of Interior on 4 July, and there are no longer any restrictions for any of the six countries covered by the Western Balkans Rule. This re-enabled employment in Germany through the Western Balkans Rules.
