13295263_1777946382442038_983308701_nIn recent years, BiH is adopting general global trend of directing power and energy of young people who are always initiators of major changes. In order for these changes to be positively oriented, it is necessary to create a guideline. This role is assigned to visionaries, individuals and organizations, such as the example of a project whose implementation starts this Saturday in Travnik.

It is coworking space, and the coworking space is actually a positive business environment in which a number of talented people share modern space for meetings, presentations and education. The aim of the coworking space is that talented people meet, gather and work together.

“There are talented people in every city, we just need to gather them and direct in the most useful direction. Technology has enabled us to make up for years of stagnation in development by jumping on the most modern train of technology and do business globally,” said one of the initiators of the idea, Nedim Sabic.

It is worth mentioning that the membership fees are fully adapted by the price, and given the fact that there is great interest, from 140 applicants for 20 vacancies, only those with the best results on the eliminatory test will be elected.

For this kind of idea was necessary assistance by the primarily local businesses and the Swiss Embassy and the Government of Norway showed the interest as well. It is especially important that certain businessmen, like Adnan Mandza, expressed a certain sensibility for support of youth and economic development, and he financially supported this good idea with great joy and knowledge.

The initiators of the idea, investors and others engaged in the project, wanted to give a chance to those who cannot allocate funds for additional education. The coworking space has several free educations for its members as well as regular, open workshops, which is a precondition for the acquisition of necessary skills among the participants for work on the global IT market. The best ones will have opened workplace, as confirmed by co-founder, Salim Sabic.

Moreover, coworking space is only the first step of the “WIP” project. The next step is to open the incubator, in which established working groups with a good idea will get start-up capital to launch their own company, which will be located one floor above the coworking space.

The third phase of the project is to launch the accelerator, where companies established in the incubator, and which managed to get to the global market, can apply for investment capital in order to expand more quickly.

WIP is an acronym for “Work In Progress”. WIP is also an innovative item in modern project management system which is known as Kanban, where the system ensures that the worker does not have more than two obligations at the same time.

WIP is the first local initiative that wants to teach young people about global flows of entrepreneurship and help them to sail alone in the world of entrepreneurship and business in the global market, which is possible with the help of the Internet.

The opening ceremony for invitees is on Saturday and all interested can join this Facebook group.
