Zvizdic: The Collapse of the legal System of BiH is in Progress, this is not the Transfer of Competencies

The Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Denis Zvizdic, thinks that it is wrong to use the term “return of transferred competencies” in the public discourse.

“It is correct to say ‘seizure of the competencies of the state of BiH’ since the BiH Constitution provides the possibility of establishing additional competencies, but does not include the procedure of any return of the competencies,” Zvizdic stated.

Also, he added that the Armed Forces (AF), Intelligence-Security Agency (OSA), State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA), the Court, and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH are state institutions established by law and that everyone has the right to proposedifferent legal solutions in PABiH, but no one in BiH has the right to establish parallel institutions.

“That is why the ‘destruction of the legal system’ is in progress, and not the ‘transfer of competencies’. The destruction of the Constitution of BiH is the destruction of the Dayton Agreement. The idea of the so-called ‘independent RS within BiH’ is the destruction of BiH’s territorial integrity and sovereignty,” Zvizdic mentioned.

”Therefore, he concluded, there is no option of “peaceful secession”. There is only the option of full protection of the internationally recognized state of BiH. It is clear to everyone who knows the situation in BiH and the region, ” Zvizdic emphasized.
