More than 100 Women Started the 8 March Expedition on Trebević

NA OSMOMARTOVSKI POHOD NA TREBEVIÆ KRENULO VIŠE OD 100 ŽENAInternational Women’s Day in the capital city is celebrated by the first expedition of women to the highest peak of Trebević.

Members of this expedition departed this morning at 8:00 by buses, from Sarajevo to Trebević. More than 100 women will walk from the location Brus to the top of Trebević.

The event “100 women on Trebević” is organized by the Mountaineering Association of Sarajevo Canton with the Sarajevo Hiking Guides, and the goal is to promote mountain hiking and visiting of Trebević mountain, once the favorite resort for all the Sarajevo citizens.

Today’s expedition has a mounting -recreational content, and organizers are very pleased with the response of women of different ages, who will give the best present to themselves-clean air, movement, outdoors stay and socializing.

Hikers will be led by Hasna Smječanin, Alma Jašarević and Sanja Korać all the way to the top of Trebević (1.629 m above the sea) and they will follow the route Ravne (Prvi šumar) – Dobre vode – Planinarski dom “Vaso Miskin Crni”.
