Long Retention at the Border Crossings in BiH

BH Border Crossings Loaded rokaj.baDuring the weekend, at most of border crossings, vehicle traffic is increased, both in the south at the exit of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and in the north at the entrance to BiH.

At the border crossing Doljani, at the exit from the country, vehicles are generally waiting for two hours and 30 minutes. There is no longer retentions at the BC Ivanica at the exit from BiH, but there is retention for two hours at the entrance to Croatia. At other border crossings retention retentions are no longer than 30 minutes.

During the weekend, the driving conditions are favorable. Important note to cargo vehicles is to exclude from the main road if notice several cars driving behind, all in order to avoid risky overtaking.

Due to the marking of the event “507 Days of Ajvatovica” on 2nd July, from 16 to 17 o’clock, traffic at the intersection of the M-5 and M-16 highways at Donji Vakuf, from the Post Office to petrol station INA will be closed.
