Federal Civil Protection Administration spent 23 Million BAM in only Month and a Half!

The Federal Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ) must, by May 8th at the latest, submit to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina detailed information with supporting documentation on all public procurement since the declaration of the state of the accident, Klix.ba news portal reports.

This has been requested by all Federal institutions and it is estimated that FUCZ spent 23 million BAM, including respirators, during this period. All eyes of the public are now on the judicial inquiry into the controversial procurement of 100 respirators paid 10.5 million BAM.

However, apart from that procurement from mid-March to the present, FUCZ, led by its director Fahrudin Solak, since declaring the state of a natural disaster, has spent a total of 23 million BAM on all procurements.

After revealing extremely dubious details regarding the procurement of respirators, the Federal Government, on the proposal of Minister Aljosa Campara, requested and invited all federal institutions to provide detailed information on all public procurement they had carried out in the previous month and a half.

The report received by the Federal Government will be forwarded to the Federal Parliament for analysis. Interestingly, in addition to the controversial procurement of respirators, FUCZ had previously obtained a certain amount of tests with help of the furniture manufacturer, as reported by the Zurnal.

In the last month and a half, FUCZ has also been buying masks, gloves and other protective equipment.  How they worked, how they selected suppliers, how much the Public Procurement Law was violated and how realistic the justification for emergency circumstances and medical equipment were difficult to reach, should reveal the report they submit, as well as the investigation of the competent authorities
