Tonight at 20:00 at the Bosnian Cultural Center the 17th International Music Festival called Jazz Fest Sarajevo will begin.
Abraham Inc., the 10-member ensemble of artists from the USA, Canada and Australia will open the festival. The ensemble will offer visitors a fusion of klezmer, hip-hop, funk and jazz. Virtuoso clarinetist and one of the most popular representatives of klezmer music David Krakauer and funk trombonist Fred Wesley lead the ensemble. Wesley earned his international reputation by performing and composing for James Brown.
After the concert in the Bosnian Cultural Center, the festival program will continu in Club Monument, where at 22:00 the Canadian trumpeter born in Sarajevo Miron Rafajlović will present his B&H quintet.
