Amel Tuka receives another major Recognition

Amel Tuka EPAIn the majestic ambience of the Olympic Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the 6th event “Selection of the athlete of the year” was held last night, organized by the Olympic Committee of BiH.

The phenomenal athlete and the fastest man in 800 meters Amel Tuka was declared the best athlete of 2016.

Holder of the best world result in the race of 800 meters in 2015 according to IAAF list, this year defended the colors of BiH in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, where he qualified for the semifinals. He also took fourth place at the European Championship in Amsterdam.

This year’s event was brightened up by Marko Bošnjak, a little boy with angelic voice.
