Armed groups fighting the forces of Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria have seized Aleppo International Airport, which the regime forces had handed over to the PKK/YPG terrorists.

According to information received from local sources, anti-regime armed groups have seized Aleppo International Airport, located in the east of the city, which the Assad regime forces handed over to the PKK/YPG terrorist organization after their withdrawal from the city this morning.

After the anti-regime armed groups entered the city center of Aleppo, the regime forces also handed over some strategic locations in the city to the PKK/YPG.

On November 27, clashes broke out between Assad regime forces and anti-regime armed groups in the western part of Aleppo in northern Syria.

The anti-regime armed groups, which had rapidly advanced from the western area of Aleppo towards the center on November 27 and 28, seized many areas in Idlib.

Armed groups entered the city center of Aleppo on November 29 and occupied most of the city center today, AA writes.
