The company “Elas metaleksport” from Banja Luka presented its new product – the digital stand. This is the first device of this type in BiH, and it was entirely designed and realized in this city.

Digital stand is a device for automatic issuing of birth certificates, citizenship certificates, and other forms, as noted on the presentation.

The director of the company “Elas metaleksport” Zeljko Petrovic stated that this device represents a new system for improving services to citizens.

“By working with different foreign partners, we decided to realize this pilot project in Banja Luka,” stated Petrovic.

He noted that another domestic company is engaged in its production in the software part of the device, and that the device was completely designed in Banja Luka, which was the goal.

Zoran Sajic noted on behalf of the company “Lukas Computers” that the digital stand is designed with the aim of getting the required documents at any time in the easiest way.

Mayor of Banja Luka Igor Radojicic said that this segment of modernization of services of the city administration represent one of the directions of the concept of “smart cities”, as announced by the city administration.
