The BiH Prosecutor’s Office held a meeting at the highest level that was attended by the Chief Prosecutor of BiH Goran Salihović and the Croatian Chief State Attorney Mladen Bajić with his colleagues.
At the meeting they spoke about the harmonization of activities and concluding protocol between the Croatian State Attorney’s Office and the BiH Prosecutor’s Office on cooperation in the prosecution of perpetrators of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.
This protocol will enable the judiciary of BiH and Croatia to effectively prosecute perpetrators of war crimes, who are located in these countries and have BiH and Croatian citizenship.
The protocol represents a positive shift in the interest of justice and prevents war crimes from going unpunished.
At today’s meeting negotiations began on the harmonization of the text protocol that will continue.
