BiH Security Minister called High Representative Schmidt ”A Migrant”

BiH Minister of Security Nenad Nešić responded to the comment of the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt.

Schmidt said that Nešić should deal with his work, i.e. the security of him as a high representative, but also of other citizens, knowing how to play games.

“The job of the Minister of Security is to create legal assumptions that ensure the safety of its citizens, as well as foreigners who reside here in accordance with legal regulations. The job of the Minister of Security is also to take care and manage the migrant crisis so that it does not endanger the security of the country, and especially to stop the entry of illegal migrants. Illegal migrants from Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and Germany are the same for the law,” said Nešić.

He said that Schmidt “doesn’t manage to show the UN Security Council resolution and prove that in accordance with Annex 10 of the Dayton Peace Agreement, Schmidt is subject to the laws of this country like all other foreigners”.

“The job of the Minister of Security is to demand compliance with the Law on Aliens and the Law on Residence and Residency. If Christian Schmidt does not feel safe in Germany, he can always turn to us and request asylum. His request will be considered and I believe that he will be granted asylum if he agrees to obey the laws of this country. Of course, the competent agencies must make an assessment as to whether he is dangerous for the security of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Nešić.

Once again, he tells Schmidt that the job of the security minister is to work according to the laws of the land, not the will of any migrant.

“Imagine what would happen if every illegal migrant wanted to be a self-appointed ruler here. Before the law, all migrants are the same, regardless of whether they are from the east or the west,” said Nešić, Raport writes.
