Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik spoke on Thursday in Minsk with Belarussian government president Syarhey Rumason co-operation between two countries.
Dodik and Rumas have estimated that cooperation between BiH and Belarus needs to be improved and that there are all preconditions for this.
The speakers stressed, in particular, the need for economic and cultural co-operation, pointing to the enormous tourist potential of BiH and Belarus, where opportunities for successful co-operation for mutual benefit are opened.
Dodik said that he was very honored to visit Belarus and was impressed by the capital – Minsk.
BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik, who arrived on a three-day visit to Belarus, should meet with President of country, Alexander Lukashenko.
Dodik arrived earlier on Thursday at the airport in Minsk, where he was received with the highest state honors. They were welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor Lisenko, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrej Vladimirovic, and Belarusian Ambassador for BiH, headquartered in Budapest, Alexander Ponomarev, Avaz news portal reports.
