sarajevo panorama (1)The ceremony on the occasion of the full implementation of an agreement on the establishment of a system of electronic exchange of data from the records of police agencies and prosecutors will take place tomorrow in Sarajevo.

Participants at the ceremony, which will take place on the premises of the Directorate for Police Bodies of BiH, will be addressed by the Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Renzo Daviddi and the BiH Minister of Security Fahrudin Radončić, as well as the Minister of Internal Affairs of the RS Radislav Jovičić and the Federal Minister of Internal Affairs Predrag Kurteš and Himzo Selimović, the Director of the Directorate for the Coordination of BiH Police Bodies.

The agreement would enable a more efficient exchange of information between the police bodies and prosecution in BiH with the goal to improve their cooperation and more efficiency in combatting crime in BiH.

The implementation of the agreement is one of the conditions that BiH has to meet in accordance with the Road Map for the liberalization of the visa regime.

All BiH police bodies participated in the establishment of a system for efficient exchange of data, the Service for Foreigners’ Office and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH.

The establishment of a system was financed by the EU through IPA 2008 with the steady and selfless commitment of the EU Delegation to BiH, announced the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH.
