gasGovernment of Sarajevo Canton will settle December invoice of commitments ”Sarajevogas” has towards BH-Gas by the end of February and it will begin paying the invoice for January, it was concluded at extraordinary session of the Cantonal Government yesterday.

Minister of Physical Planning and Environmental Protection of SC Zlatko Petrović stated at a press conference that the total amount of debt is 25.200.000 BAM, but that debt is being reduced every day.

Topic of the session was a guarantee for the remaining debt and Petrović explained that KJKP ”Toplane” will give securities to ”Sarajevogas”, ”Sarajevogas” to BH-Gas, and the procedure of issuance of securities will be verified by supervisory boards and assemblies of those municipalities.

Marketing Director of ”Sarajevogas” Nihada Glamoč said this company is in a difficult situation and that new agreements will help them to get through the heating season.

”We agreed on issuance of securities of ‘Toplane’ towards BH-Gas,” she reminded and added that suspension of gas delivery would cause series of problems, security being the biggest one.

Director of KJKP “Toplane” Sarajevo Admir Džubur emphasized they expect final solution for this problem from the new government.
