Emir of Qatar welcomed at the Presidency of B&H with highest Honors

Qatar Emir in Sarajevo avaz.baEmir of the State of Qatar Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani paid yesterday an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He was solemnly welcomed in front of the Presidency of B&H with military honors. He was hosted by the Chairman Dragan Čović, with whom he talked in the small lounge. Plenary meeting of the Presidency of B&H, members of the collegiums of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H and the Chairman of the Council of Minsiters of B&H with the Emir Al-Thani and the delegation from Qatar was held afterwards.

The Council of Ministers of B&H stated that B&H and Qatar are improving cooperation between youth. The Draft memorandum of understanding which improves the cooperation between institutions and youth centers of the two countries was defined. At the same time, the exchange of information is promoted, as well as the exchange of studies and research, their mutual visits and organizing of joint workshops for young people from both countries. A joint committee for the implementation of this memorandum will be formed and it will create a concept of cooperation program. The draft will be submitted to the Presidency of B&H for further procedure, and the Minister of Civil Affairs was proposed as the signatory on behalf of B&H.
