False News about the Blockade of City of Banja Luka caused excessive Shopping

Banja Luka Mayor Igor Radojicic said during the media conference on Thursday that misinformation had spread throughout the city of Banja Luka on Wednesday, causing fear and unnecessary extraordinary shopping, Klix.ba news portal reports.

Specifically, Radojicic explained that it was false information that contained a disturbing message about the complete blockade of the city, which caused considerable consequences.

“Some people have generated the lie that the city will be closed. This is inaccurate because the City Headquarters did not consider closing Banja Luka and all its activities. We are maintaining the same measures as we have today, “Radojicic explained.

He added that the interior ministry would investigate the case because such dissemination of misinformation was punishable.
