Organized by the Union of Associations “Mreža žena – Veliko Srce u BiH” (women’s network-big heart in BiH), the 4th Fair of Organic Production “Eko-Etno BiH” started in Gradačac.
This two-day event gathers more than 50 exhibitors or organic products of food and herbs, honey and bee products, and associations of heritage and tradition that deal with environmental preservation, as well as several high schools.
The fair was opened by Boško Gaćeša from the Institute of Organic Agriculture B&H.
In addition to the exhibition portion of the fair, educational lectures will be organized on mushrooms, with a special emphasis on their use in the cosmetics industry, and a presentation on jams from apples and pears and their placement in international markets.
A lecture will be organized for beekeepers on organic beekeeping based on the principles of organic production.
