Bills for Heating will soon be reduced?

From January 1st , heating prices in Sarajevo are cheaper by 2.3 percent.

The Government of Canton Sarajevo (CS) issued a Decision on the tariff views of the Public Utility Company (PUC) Toplane – Sarajevo, which established new central heating prices for all categories of users, reducing them down to 2.3 percent compared to the previous ones.

“With this decision, the Government of CS has adjusted the price of central heating with the current price of natural gas for the next period, said a spokesman of Toplane, Zenja Ljubuskic.

For a housing space of ​​60 square meters, new central heating price with a value of 36.7 BAM with VAT for the five months out of the heating season (May, June, July, August, September) started from January 1st 2018.

The new central heating price with VAT has a value of 127.9 BAM for seven months in the heating season (October, November, December, January, February, March, April) and it started on January 1st 2018.

For a housing space of ​​100 square meters, the new price of central heating with starting date January 1st for five months out of the heating season (May, June, July, August, September) with VAT  amounts to 61.2 BAM.

The new price of central heating with starting date January 1st  for seven months in the heating season (October, November, December, January, February, March, April) with VAT amounts to 213.2 BAM, Ljubuskic explained.

Reduced bills for several BAM, depending on the size of the apartment, will be delivered to consumers in February.
