CIAThe director of the Central Intelligence Agency of USA, John O. Brennan, and Director General of Intelligence and Security Agency / OSA / BiH, Osman Mehmedagic,  expressed their mutual satisfaction with the cooperation of the two agencies, and they agreed on more intensive cooperation on all issues of common interest.

It was assessed that the visit of Brennan to BiH, who was on a return visit at the invitation of Mehmedagic, was extremely successful and productive, as announced from OSA.

During the two-day visit, Brennan held separate meetings with members of Strike Force for the fight against terrorism, and with members of the Presidency of BiH.

Brennan expressed support for the work of Strike Force, and announced that CIA will support the work of agencies in BiH through the exchange of data via OSA BiH.

They discussed at the meeting the current security situation in BiH, the actions taken in the fight against terrorism, mutual cooperation of all security agencies and authorities in BiH, as well as the fight against organized crime and corruption.

The US Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack attended the meeting of the Strike Force for the fight against terrorism with Brennan as well.
