The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Finland, Sauli Ninisto, on the occasion of the admission of the Republic of Finland to full NATO membership.

We transmit the congratulation in its entirety:

“Dear Mr. President,

It is my pleasure to send you, as a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, my hearty congratulations on the admission of the Republic of Finland to full membership of the NATO alliance.

This historical event for the Republic of Finland and its citizens is significant for all countries committed to membership in the NATO alliance and cooperation with friendly member countries of this most powerful military-political alliance. The membership of the Republic of Finland in the NATO alliance will contribute to the preservation of security and stability in the North-East of Europe, as well as beyond.

Determined in its efforts to become a full member of the NATO alliance, Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to build strong relations with all partner countries and contribute to strengthening security in Southeastern Europe.

In the belief that with joint cooperation we will successfully resist all challenges at the level of global international and geopolitical relations, please accept, Mr. President, the expressions of my personal respect.”
