Positive Trends at the Labor Market in BH recorded

labor marketAt the end of August this year, 390.659 unemployed persons were registered at the records of the cantonal employment services, which is a decrease of 163 persons compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month last year, a number of unemployed persons decreased for 3.509.

Also, a number of employed persons (451.248) in July this year, was larger for 6.742 compared to the same month last year.

“It needs to be emphasized that from the beginning of the year until the end of August, 74.589 persons were deleted from the records, while in the same period, 72.983 persons were registered. Out of persons who were deleted from the records, 48.687 persons were employed, while 43.617 registered due to termination of the employment“, as announced from the Federal employment institute.

Among the unemployed persons the most are qualified workers (33.41%) and unqualified workers (28.56%), then follow persons with secondary education (26.62%) and university degree (7.39%), semi-qualified workers (1.92%), persons with university education (1.45%), high-qualified workers (0.47%) and persons with primary education (0.17%).
