Reduced Prices of ID Cards and Driving Licences soonThe new regulations will not cause any changes in the appearance of ID cards and driving licenses.

There is a possibility that prices of issuing ID cards and driving licences will be reduced. The amount of reduction will be decided by the Council of Ministers.

IDDEEA’s Proposal

Price ranges proposed by the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange (IDDEEA) range between minimum 10 BAM and current 18 BAM. Proposed cost of driver’s licenses range between 30 BAM and current 60 BAM.

“We have made a detailed analysis of the current price of ID cards and driver’s licenses, taking into account the effects on the state budget and the budgets of the competent authorities. What is certain at the moment is that there will be no significant changes in the prices of these documents”, says spokeswoman Amila Opardija. However, she did not want to talk about exact prices which are listed in the proposal.
