Group of students from Boston, the USA who arrived last year in BiH on one month practice period returned to BiH because ,as they say they liked it a lot and think that Sarajevo and Boston are quite similar and they added that they felt welcomed and noted that people in Sarajevo are very friendly towards foreigners.
They noted that it’s a little less fun being in Sarajevo during the winter time, because it is too cold but it is an excellent opportunity to go and ski.
Students came to BiH via the American University in BIH that helped them to find the organisation in order to have certain amount of practice hours.
They noted that the corruption in BIH is much worse than in the USA, and that it much likely that those responsible for corruption will not be arrested for that in BiH, but noted that things are improving.
They said to Anadolu News Agency that when they return to the USA, they will advise everyone to go and visit Sarajevo which is indeed a special place.
Sarah, one of the students said that people are very kind and open and that during her stay she felt like home. She noted that BiH people are different than Americans, and that they cherish things differently.
