The Constitutional Court of BiH on the Election of the President and Members of the RS Government

The plenary session of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held today starting at 9:30 a.m.

On the agenda of the session are the requests of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to assess the constitutionality of the Law on the Attorney General of Bosnia and Herzegovina and to assess the compatibility of the Law on Salaries and Remunerations in the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

The request of twenty-four delegates of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the assessment of the compatibility of Article 25, paragraph 2, item d) and Article 65 of the Law on Public Radio and Television Service of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in connection with the Decision on the appointment of members of the Board of Directors of Radio and Television FBiH will be considered.

And the requests of four delegates of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, eleven members of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH, the first deputy chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and other eleven members of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH to which they requested an evaluation of the constitutionality, i.e. determination of the dispute between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entity Republika Srpska in connection with the adoption of: Decision on the election of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska; Decisions on the election of members of the Government of the Republic of Srpska; Decisions on the early entry into force of the Decision on the election of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska and the Decision on the early entry into force of the Decision on the election of members of the Government of the Republic of Srpska.

On the agenda, among other things, is the request of Kemal Ademović, the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to examine the regularity of the procedure, that is, to determine the existence or non-existence of a constitutional basis for declaring the following proposed decisions harmful to the vital interest of the Serbian people: Proposal for a decision to amend the Decision on the appointment of members of the PSBiH to the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilization and Association between the PSBiH and the European Parliament from November 20, 2025, then the Proposal for a decision on changes to the Decision on the appointment of members of the parliamentary delegations from November 20, 2025 and Proposal for a decision on amending the Decision on the appointment of members of interparliamentary friendship groups of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly for bilateral cooperation with parliamentary bodies of other countries from November 20, 2025.
