women7The US Department of Foreign Affairs has asked the Congress to approve 1.34 billion dollars to help women around the world in 2017.

Of that amount, for the projects to prevent violence against women and to strengthen gender equality, around 5.08 million dollars are allocated to BiH. The State Department stated that BiH has a population of 1.91 million women and the help per one woman would be 2.65 dollars.
